Eligibility: Successful applicants from the preliminary

Any pieces within 15 minutes of Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, or Liszt

Violin

Play both of the pieces 1 and 2 listed below.

1. Ravel: Tzigane
2. Webern: Vier Stücke Op.7

 

Accompanist:
In the semifinal, the organizers can provide an official accompanist if a semifinalist cannot arrange his/her own accompanist. The organizers will pay the accompanist expenses. However, the semifinalist cannot designate
any accompanist. Cancellation of the official accompanist after application will incur a cancellation charge of \10,000. With the official accompanist, the semifinalist can practice for 60 minutes at the place and time specified
by the competition organizers on the previous day of the semifinal.
Rehearsal on stage will not be permitted.
When a semifinalist arranges his/her accompanist by himself/herself, he/she must bear the all accompanist expenses.

Accompanist:
Nagoya philharmonic orchestra (conducted by Kazumasa WATANABE) will accompany the finalists.
