Travel Expenses

All travel expenses should be borne by the participants themselves.
However, only to a non-Japanese contestant living out of Japan, the competition organizers will give the grant for the flight charge to Japan from a country to which his/her citizenship belongs:
From an Asian country to which contestant's citizenship belongs: \50,000
From a Western country to which contestant's citizenship belongs: \100,000

Stay Expenses

All stay expenses should be borne by the participants.
However, only to a non-Japanese semifinalist/finalist living out of Japan, the competition organizer will give the following grant:
Semifinalist: Accommodation fee from the previous night of the Elimination to the next morning of the Semifinal at a hotel specified by the organizers
Finalist: Accommodation fee from the previous night of the Elimination to the next morning of the Award Ceremony at a hotel specified by the organizers
Or the organizers will arrange a home stay with a volunteer host family.
